Get it Started

Any task that you can set up and leave while it does it’s thing is a procrastivity with high productivity value so just get it started and move on.  Right now I have the dish washer washing, the clothes washer washing and the clothes dryer drying, a rock tumbler tumbling in the garage, a compost heap making soil, native plants propagating, mouse traps baited and set and waiting, a water system ready for the next rain, a pork belly brining, my black walnut tree and my IRA growing, and the list goes on.  All of these things were started in the past and are working away now.  Meanwhile. I sit at my desk and write.  What are you waiting for…get it started…then go back to watching Looney Tunes cartoons!
